The Andes dominate Peru's highlands, where elevation brings strong daily shifts in temperature and weather. The series does not attempt to summarize that vast geography. It concentrates on the instability of a view: cloud closing over a ridge, light finding snow and stone, blue distance swallowing what had seemed near.

Detail and abstraction alternate with the conditions. Rock can appear severe and exact in one frame, then dissolve into layered tone in the next. The mountain remains; visibility becomes the true subject.

The photographs avoid a tour of familiar landmarks. They stay with exposure, scale, and the uncertainty of looking across terrain that can disappear behind weather within minutes.
