Before the wedding, I learn the schedule, the family relationships, and why you chose the place. Portraits are planned around the best available light and directed clearly. For the rest of the day, I stay close to the people and let events move at their own pace.
Based in Peru, I photograph destination weddings in Latin America and Europe. Other locations are considered once timing, travel, and the right to work there have been confirmed.
If you live in the United States or Canada and are marrying elsewhere, consultations and planning can be handled remotely. For weddings taking place in either country, a commission can proceed only after the appropriate visa or work permit requirements have been confirmed for that event.
For a wedding in Europe, planning begins with the movement between venues, the available light, and the time you want to protect for your guests. Travel and any country-specific work requirements are reviewed before the date is confirmed.
Working from Peru gives me direct experience with the distances, altitude, weather, and changing light of the region. The proposal accounts for the actual route and schedule, whether the celebration is in a city, on the coast, or farther into the landscape.
You do not need a finished schedule to inquire. Send the date or approximate date, location, guest count, and the events you are considering. I will reply with availability, the details still needed, and the next step. The proposal separates photography coverage from travel costs so you can review the full scope before deciding.
An inquiry is not a booking. No date is contracted until the scope, travel plan, and any required work authorization are clear.
Nine to twelve months is a useful lead time, especially for multi-day celebrations or dates that require international travel. For a wedding closer than that, availability will depend on the date and location.

Most of the day is photographed as it unfolds. I step in for couple and family portraits with straightforward direction, work from an agreed list for important groups, and keep that part of the schedule efficient.
I accept 10 to 12 weddings each year. This leaves room to learn the schedule, coordinate travel, photograph multi-day events when needed, and edit each gallery myself.
