The musicians were photographed in the room where they worked, under warm directional light that belonged naturally to the mood of the session. Instruments remain close, not as props, but as extensions of posture and habit.

Between formal portraits came the more revealing exchanges: a glance across the room, a hand returning to an instrument, the pause before another beginning. The series listens for those intervals, where the character of the group is clearest.
